WE RESCUE INJURED, NEGLECTED & ABUSED DOGS IN BYLAKUPPE, KARNATAKA, SOUTH INDIA.

Adopting is one of the best things you can do.

When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving dog a home. You’re also reducing the demand for puppy mills and other industrial-scale breeding operations that put profit before animal welfare.

How to Help Us

  • Donate

So far Dolma Dog Rescue has been able to operate solely from the founder’s own personal savings. But this is not sustainable and that’s why we are seeking donations. Your donation will help the center with necessary resources such as grooming supplies, medicines, food, transportation of sick/injured dogs, staff pay, and construction of a new rescue center. Please donate if you can!

  • Sponsor

You can sponsor a dog on a monthly basis and it is a great way to help any dogs who cannot be put back out on the street due to medical issues. Sick and disabled dogs at the rescue house don’t get adopted most of the time. If you cannot adopt, please consider sponsoring a dog at DDR. If you are interested in sponsoring a dog please contact us.

  • Volunteer

DDR is open to volunteers who’d like to help! Volunteering can include walking our dogs, grooming, feeding, help with cleaning, during our rabies awareness events etc. Folks who are not in Bylakuppe have helped with fundraisers online in the past. This can look like hosting a birthday fundraiser. Please contact us if you'd like to help out.

  • Support our Needs

We cannot do the work alone.

Want to support one of our urgent needs/projects directly? Click learn more to browse the list of things we are urgently seeking support with at the moment.

  • Share our Page

Although we cover our rescue actions mainly in the Bylakuppe area, we have visited other camps like Hunsur and areas around the Kodagu district (Coorg) for rescue missions when we have the capacity. It is incredibly difficult to reach places outside of Bylakuppe because we simply do not have enough help. Do share our page so that those who’d like to volunteer or support us can also be involved with the work we do.
